2023-11-10: The purchase prices for ICs have somewhat normalized. We are passing on the cost savings on our new production series to our customers:
The HX3.6 mainboard now costs only 628€ instead of 698€, the HX3.6 Expander is reduced from 869€ to 799€, the HX3 Expander WiFi costs only 829€ instead of 899€ (prices including VAT for Germany, for other countries varying depending on VAT rate, minus 19% VAT outside the EU). Other components in our store are also cheaper now.
2023-11-01: There is a new update for HX3.5. To perform the update, download and unzip the zip file from HX3.5 Manager Current Firmware. Use the new HX3 Manager 6.10 from this directory, start the Updater, select in the Update menu/Update via USB... the components Firmware, FPGA, Speaker Models and CC Sets in order.
This update takes HX3.5 to the same level as HX3.6 as far as the hardware allows. It contains the FPGA version #01112023 with improved CaM Rotor, firmware #5.832 with bug fixes and small improvements in operation (see changelog) and revised rotary speaker models. CC sets for Nord C2D and Viscount Legend models are added.

2023-10-27: HX3.6 mainboards and therefore all HX3.6 products are unfortunately temporarily sold out. We expect the next batch from production in a few days. Since the chip prices have almost normalized again, a price reduction is in prospect!
Firmware version 5.8 takes HX3.5 to the same level as HX3.6. The beta version, the matching HX3 Manager and the instructions can be found on our download server. Please also note the changelog in this directory and the migration guide linked therein.
When playing notes, a few boards produce a "grainy" noise sometimes after switching on (i. e. every 3 to 10 power cycles). This is caused by timing issues from FPGA to DAC and DSP.
We believe that we solved this issue for every known case by improved I2S interfacing within the FPGA structure.
The new FPGA version #14102023 can be found on our update server in the directory HX3.6 Manager Current Firmware. To perform the update, start the Updater, click on HX3.6 Update and then select the update file hx36_upd.dfu.
If updating the FPGA Sound Engine to #14102023 does not help and you still experience such behaviour, a small hardware modification is necessary. This is done free of charge in our workshop.
